Immediate response when production cannot stop
A few days ago, one of our customers contacted us about a breakdown that had left one of their machines out of service.
They needed a machined coupling that day, a very specific solution and with the urgency that comes with knowing that every minute of downtime means losses and interrupted service for their customers.
After explaining the application where the coupling was used, our Engineering Department set to work on defining a solution that would not only resolve the incident but also prevent this problem from recurring.
Thanks to our in-house manufacturing capacity, we were able to put the part into production immediately and, in less than 4 hours from the notification, La Montañanesa had its machined coupling ready to be installed and resume its activity.
The coupling installed was an XSRB200 with spacer, designed with triple studs as it was a vertical application. With this solution, we were able to bridge the distance between the shafts, guaranteeing the necessary working torque and lightening the coupling so that the application suffers less wear and tear and its service life is extended.
In addition to resolving the incident, this coupling offers a key advantage for the future:
